So I’ve been busy for the last few days doing what I do.

 I had to “work” Friday night, so it worked out that my wifey treated me to my Valentine’s Day gift Friday afternoon.I’m not caught by surprise often but I was when I found out I’d be going to Cirque de Soliel. During and after the show, all I could say was WOW. If you haven’t been, you should go. It is live art! Personally, I’m blessed any time I can see people do what they are born to do. And Cirque de Soliel is just a big ol’ show full of people that are highly gifted, trained and skilled at doing what they do.

Friday Evening I had to go to “work” so it was back to the stage. This one happened to be at a basketball court. The vibe was right, the crowd was expectant and I gave a great show.

What had happened was…I was invited to the Austin Midnight Basketball program which has been successfully operated in Austin for fourteen years by former Spurs Superstar James Silas.

As Commissioner of this program Silas has mentored, guided, and supported numerous young men toward better opportunities for their lives. They told me they thought that their participants would eagerly connect to what I had to say regarding their life dreams.

They were right.

Saturday I attended my first ever Baby Shower. It was more fun than expected.

Then Sunday it was back to work. I was at the GMZ student ministry Cypha service. I did a new song called Redefine. It was jumpin’!

Now the crazy part is that eventhough right now in Austin, TX it is snowing…Two days ago  it was a beautiful 76 degrees! It was so nice I went and kicked it at the lake before I went to the homey B.L.U.E’s house to listen to new beats.

What’s really crazy is that on the way there I got a call from Germany where my homey Mista Min now lives and he told me he had 3 or 4 new beats for me. I guess I’m not hurting for fresh beats. And since I’m never hurting for fresh flows, I guess it time to record some fresh music.
